Questions about AH1N1 virus
First of all... A(H1N1) isn't limited to the 2009 so called "swine flu" I did some research and is confused because the 1918 Spanish flu is also A(H1N1).
Ok now please answer these :)) (Very sure answers) Thanks!
Origin of the A(H1N1) virus (year when it was first detected, the place where it originated, the animal where it was first detected)

Swine Flu Created in Lab
According to the belief of two renowned reporters who spoke with top officials at the UN and WHO, the epidemic of the new strand of swine flu virus in Mexico is the result of an artificially created pathogen, the Online Journal reported.
Swine flu, Ebola and HIV were produced in laboratories
The reported from Mexico City claims that one of the leading UN scientists discovered certain joint More..transmission vectors, that is, the transmission of the swine flu virus is similar to the transmission of the Ebola virus and of the HIV/AIDS virus, which indicates that they were genetically modified with the aim of being military bio-weapons.
The UN scientist is convinced that the swine flu virus, A-H1N1, and Ebola and HIV viruses were in fact manufactured biological weapons.
As proof, they state that the usual process of transmission is that the virus is transmitted from a pig to a human, which is not the case in this outbreak because no case of a pig being infected with the A-H1N1 virus has been registered. Furthermore, the A-H1N1 virus partly contains American pig genes, partly human and bird flu strains and the virus of the Euro-Asian swine flu.
American military responsible
The other reporter, from Jakarta, claims that WHO leaders are worried that the current swine flu virus has been genetically modified to be transmitted from one species to another because of the fact that the A-H1N1 virus contains the genetic material of the H5N1 virus, that is, bird flu.
Allegedly, American scientists exhumed the body of a woman who died of the Spanish flu in 1918 and used the genetic material of the flu virus as the basis for the creation of the H5N1 virus through genetic manipulation. All this happened in laboratories at the Fort Detrick military base from which the new strain of anthrax called ames originated.
what do you think of this?

Mexican Flu racist or accurate
Traditionally, various influenza outbreaks have been identified according to where the strains originated or where they were first described/identified. The Hong Kong Flu, Asian Flu, Spanish Flu, etc.
Swine Flu is too generic, there are dozens (hundreds?) of swine-influenced flus in humans, and H1N1 A is way too scientific/cold to be used as the common name. And NO pigs have been found to be infected with this flu, in Mexico or anywhere else (I still think it may be a lab flu that got away).
According to tradition, because this infection started in Mexico and was first identified and described there, it should be called the "Mexican Flu."
However, some people say it's racist to call it that.
Why? It's simply a fact, stating where it started. If it started in New York, it would be called the "New York Flu" or "New England Flu" if it was not so specific. Or the "Kansas Flu" (which is more accurate for the Spanish Flu).
I do not understand at all how it can be "racist" to use the word "Mexican" to describe this flu unless "Mexican" as a word in and of itself is now a racist word. Can someone please explain to me how this could possibly be a racism issue?
What do you mean it started in the US? Last I heard it was seen in Mexico as early as in March 18, the first US cases (in San Diego) were reported on April 17, which was the first to be tested by the CDC and to be proven to be a new strain, which came from the March outbreak in Mexico.

Why arent we calling it Mexican flu
For crying out loud!! The flu that killed my grandfather was called the Spanish flu !! Guess why. It originated in Spain.
And, I am not being pedantic...i.e. quibbling about petty things...it is the principle of the matter..the 4th estate (the moribund press) is, once again, feeding us a lie...this one a lie of omission and misdirection.

& If it does will this Pandemic be as deadly as the 1918 Spanish Flu Pandemic was?
Will this Swine Flu Outbreak be contained by Global Health Authorities or do we still not have the Technology yet to do that?

How can we avoid this crisis
In 1918 the flu pandemic known as the Spanish Flu (or H1N1) was estimated at killing 20-100 million people worldwide. The human body's immune system came nowhere close to being able to combat it. People woke up in the morning perfectly healthy and by the end of the day they were dead. It was bad. H5N1 (bird flu) is version 5.0 of that virus, and in today's modern world, it would be devastating. Geographers have a term called space-time compression, which is the term that labels how the time it takes to travel from one place on the globe to another is taking less time, making the world, in a sense, smaller. Let me provide you with an example series of events of what would happen if H5N1 transferred to humans, keep in mind the Spanish flu is thought to have originated in rural Kansas.
A farmer from southern Georgia is taking a trip up to see his relatives in New York City. He and his family are the only people contaminated with this new virus. He arrives at the airport and boards his plane. He develops a mild cough and he coughs into a napkin, which the flight attendant picks up. She gets contaminated. Then she hands out peanuts to all the passengers. They all get contaminated. The farmer arrives in New York but has to wait to get picked up, so he goes to buy a snack. He exchanges money with the girl at the cash register making her contaminated. All the food and people who buy food get contaminated. All the passengers of the plane do the same at different restaurants and stores. Pretty soon everyone in the airport carries the disease. Then they all board planes going to all the major cities throughout the globe repeating the process. Get my point?
Quarantine would be out of the question as this would move too fast and the consequences of this virus would be catastrophic, is there any way we can help prevent this from happening?
PS. For those of you wondering why this is in the philosophy section, its because I believe the people who read and write here have the best thinking skills
Joe you honestly want mass death? True we could let things go and speed up natural selection like they did before modern technology. But is not the goal of modern technology to prolong, protect, and enhance life? If you want to simply take that approach and standby while the world crumbles fine. But as for me and anyone else, we are actually going to try and take action to prevent such a massacre.
